ANDREW BAUM

CPA/ABV/CFF

Andy’s experience includes over 13 years of providing litigation support services, primarily for marital dissolution matters. This consists of valuations of closely held businesses across multiple industries, asset tracing, analyses of net spendable income, pension valuations, stock option valuations, valuation of trust interests, and other financial matters. He’s been qualified as an expert witness in multiple jurisdictions throughout Colorado.

Andy has been a member of the Harper Hofer & Associates team since 2013. Prior to joining HHA, he worked at Gursey Schneider, the largest family law focused forensic accounting firm in California, and before that, cut his chops at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in accounting and minor in finance and a Master of Professional Accounting degree, both from the top-ranked accounting program at the University of Texas at Austin.

Andy has presented at seminars and events sponsored by the American Bar Association, Women’s Estate Planning Council, University of Denver – Daniels College of Business, Front Range Business Valuation Group, Beta Alpha Psi, National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA), and Association of International Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). You can check out his guest appearances on the Divorce at Altitude podcast where he discusses a variety of topics with host Ryan Kalamaya. Andy is also a recipient of the NACVA 40 under Forty designation and the AICPA Standing Ovation Award.

Most of Andy’s time outside of work is spent with family; however, he likes to spend what little time he does have left reading, exercising, meditating, catching up with friends, and watching his beloved Texas Longhorns sports teams! Hook’em Horns!
