RANDOM FACTS

Movies are great entertainment. However, the quiet warmth of a library along with the aroma of shelved books cannot be topped for avid readers such as myself.

As a child I dreamt of being either a singer or a detective. I can’t carry a tune in a bucket, so I went the detective route, thus forensic accounting.

I find genuine satisfaction in unraveling financial puzzles and conducting intricate monetary analyses. Guiding individuals through the often turbulent litigation process brings me fulfillment in my work. Knowing that my efforts contribute to alleviating stress for my clients fills me with a sense of pride and purpose.

In 2010 Kristine had the great privilege of joining the outstanding team at Harper Hofer & Associates. Since then, she has continued to elevate her practice, building on foundations laid during her tenure with local boutique CPA firms and a regional accounting firm.

Kristine’s commitment to knowledge-sharing is evident through her role as an instructor for the 2020 and 2021 Family Law Basic Skills: Financial Issues course, facilitated by the Colorado Bar Association.  She has also shared insights on various topics at professional gatherings such as the Women’s Estate Planning Council and the Front Range Business Valuation Group. Serving as the Treasurer of the Colorado LGBT Bar Foundation from 2016 to 2023 underscores her dedication to community engagement and advocacy.

Beyond professional endeavors, Kristine is deeply rooted in her Denver upbringing, with Colorado forever holding a special place in her heart. In 2022, she joined her partner in his relocation to South Florida. As a “mountain girl” she is amazed at how much enjoyment she finds being in and around the ocean.  She looks forward to undertaking new activities such as sailing and diving. Regular trips to Colorado offer her the opportunity to reconnect with loved ones and coworkers, bask in the mountain air, and rejuvenate amidst familiar surroundings.
