Harper Hofer and Associates

TAMARA M. RIBGERG

CPA, CVA

Tamara provides forensic accounting services primarily for marital dissolution matters.  She specializes in business valuation, income analysis, asset tracing, separate property analysis, valuation of equity compensation awards including stock options and RSUs, trust interest valuations, and spending and needs analysis.  She has also assisted counsel and clients in the preparation of Sworn Financial Statements, asset division, and in preparation for mediation, depositions, and trial.

Tamara began her forensic accounting career in 2011 at a boutique forensic CPA and valuation firm located in Westlake Village, California.  Before finding her passion in forensic accounting, she provided audit and attestation services at KPMG, LLP and McGladrey & Pullen, LLP.  This experience allowed her the opportunity to plan, implement, and execute the first statutory independent investigation of a licensed cannabis business for the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Colorado and the State licensing authority upon joining Harper Hofer & Associates in 2016.

Tamara holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from the University of San Diego.  She also minored in Spanish and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst.  Tamara was named to the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts’ “40 Under Forty” in 2020.  She has had the opportunity to present at various events hosted by the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA), Front Range Business Valuation Group, and the Colorado Bar Association.

When she is not collaborating with clients and her Harper Hofer team, Tamara is living her best dance mom life or singing Taylor Swift with her two beautiful daughters.  Any other free time is spent running, road biking, playing piano, reading, cooking, or on the tennis court with her Husband.
