KURT LITZELFELNER

In his role at Harper Hofer & Associates, Kurt specializes in providing business valuation and litigation support services for attorneys and their clients. His experience has encompassed business valuations for a variety of purposes, including marital dissolution, estate and gift tax reporting, shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, corporate reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). In addition, he has prior experience providing merger and acquisition advisory services to small and mid-sized business owners. This experience has provided him with additional perspective when valuing privately held businesses.

Kurt has been a part of the phenomenal HHA team since 2023. Prior to joining HHA, he worked at a nationally recognized New York-based business valuation firm, as well as in the business valuation, forensic, and litigation services group of a regional CPA firm in Western New York.  It is there where he started his career in business valuation in 2001. Before his career in the business valuation field, Kurt worked at a middle-market investment banking firm assisting clients with both sell-side and buy-side transactions.

In addition to his work at HHA, he is actively involved in the Western New York Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), where he previously served as a Vice President. Kurt has presented for various organizations in Western New York on a variety of valuation topics and has authored articles on similar subjects.

In his free time (when it’s summer!), he enjoys golfing, biking, and going to classic car shows. Kurt also likes to spend time bowling, exercising at the gym, reading, trying new restaurants, and watching sports with friends and family.
